Hey Everyone,
Just got off the phone with Colton Udall and here is what happened with his race this weekend. At the start of the Race Colton was behind Kendall Norman, by about 15 sec at the time he handed the #0x bike off to his Teammate Dave Kamo. Durring Kamo's section of the race he had an Exhaust problem witch caused the bike to not pull 5th on the straights. Then at one of Kamo's pit stops the Honda boys had to change out the Exhaust. When Colton got back on the Bike he was about 7 1/2 min down. Udall put his head down and cought the Kendall Norman and Quinn Cody #1x bike and passed them for the lead. At the end of the race Kendall Cought Udall and they crossed the line at the same time witch unafishally gave Colton Udall the Win because he had started the Race 30 sec behind Kendall Norman.
On Sunday Morning Score ruled the #1xbike of Kendall Norman and Quinn Cody the 2011 Baja 500 winners. The #0x bike of Colton Udall and Dave Kamo had been off cource by about 100 feet at one of the Vertual Check points. That would dock the #0x bike 10 mins putting them in 2nd place.
The Johnny Campbell Racing Team dedicated the race to the memory of Colton Udall's former teammate Jeff "Ox" Kargula who Recently Died on a ride in Baja.
